Who are we ?

My dog Archibald once asked me: "why is there nothing elegant or luxurious for us? I mean for  dogs? Aren’t we supposed to be men best friends? Although I found the argument a little bit easy to used I wanted to prove him that he was wrong and that in 2007, in France, you could find luxurious products for dogs. But after a long day walking in the streets of Paris, it noticed that "luxury" for dogs, when this word is not misused, does not really exist when it exist for almost everythink. I had to admit Archibald was right. Humans can have nice cars, nice apartments, nice clothes, but no beautiful lead, not beautiful dog baskets, bowls, blankets ... you name it. Why it is that when it comes to dogs most product must be made with low quality and often simply devoid of any quality. At least if quality is not for the dog it could be for the owner. This is why we launched, Archibald and myself, a true luxury brand for dogs. But we knew that most bespoke products handmade, in France by the finest craftsmen, would not be accessible to all and this is why Dog and Design also offers products which are fun, design, original and accessible for all kind of budget. Our desire is to always offer the best, the funniest and most original products.
