XIX th century dog house, gilded with gold leaf, covered by 6 meters of silk velvet, 4 meters of silk and trimmings (peak, cable, boufettes) is a unique work of precision and expertise. This dog house is a copy of the one made for Marie-Antoinette and exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of New York.

The restoration work has been performed by: The workshops Jobbé-Duval for gilding, velvet comes from Le Manach's house, the taffeta from la maison Veraseta the trimmings  from la maison Verrier, the tapestry was made by the Brazet workshops.
